Our Commitment to Accuracy
All technical content published on flexitest.co.uk — including service descriptions, guidance articles, and FAQ answers — is written or reviewed by practising City & Guilds qualified engineers who hold current BS 7671:2018+A4:2026 (IET Wiring Regulations, 18th Edition) certification. We do not publish generic third-party content without engineer review.
Sources and References
Where legislative or regulatory information is cited — including the Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020, the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, and BS 5266-1:2016 — we link to the primary source (legislation.gov.uk, HSE, or the relevant Standards body) where publicly available. We do not rely solely on secondary summaries.
Review Cycle
Technical pages and guidance articles are reviewed at minimum annually, or whenever a relevant British Standard, IET Guidance Note, or statutory instrument is updated. Our engineers are members of continuing professional development programmes that flag regulatory changes promptly.
Corrections
If you identify a factual error or an outdated regulatory reference on any page, please contact us at mail@flexitest.co.uk. We aim to investigate and correct verified errors within 5 working days.
Commercial Independence
Guidance published on this site is produced independently of any manufacturer, installer, or trade body. Where we link externally to professional bodies such as the IET, HSE, or City & Guilds, those links are provided for reader information only and do not imply endorsement of our services by those organisations.
